A WAR TORN HEART | POEATREEMAN on Xanga

A WAR TORN HEART

A Battle Between
Truth and Lies
A War
That Raged,
All our Life.

Feeling Right,
Is no Less
Painful
Taking
One's Life,
Is the End
Of Our own.

Killing
One's Spirit,
It's yours
That Dies
Living
with Heart
Is the Soul
That Cries.

Remembering
The Waste
You Wonder why?
No Purple Heart,
For a War Torn Soul.

Only Remembrance,
Pain
Those who Died
A Heart
That is Torn
From Bleeding
and War.

Remembers
The Cost,
For They Felt
Life Long.

A THOUGHT!

My Spirit has Battled my Soul
My Heart was Torn to Hell
My Country I Hope the Wiser
For I Could not Battle myself..

Written For and Dedicated To
PFC Mike R.Jones: Desert Storm

A Poeatreeman

Less He finds
A Better way
There is no, Time
To Talk again

War is not different
It is Humanities Death

That dies,
Each time
There is War
I will exist,
Yet !
How much more?

Each Time
I have Fallen,
There is no Return
I am Buried
With all the Hearts,
That where
Killed in War.

Raise up Peace
I will Come through.

Kill me
You Will be Too..

MORAL DEPRAVITIES

RUNS RAMPANT
IN THIS LAND.

IT IS NOT THE GUN
BUT MAN.

BRING BACK
MORALS TO THIS LAND.

WE MAY FIND GOD
WILL BLESS OUR LAND.

POEATREEMAN

NO MORALS
KILLS HUMANITY.

WAR KILLS LOVE.

HATE
PULLS THE TRIGGER

MAN
IS THE ONE.

WHO KEEPS
TARGETING HIMSELF,

HE IS THE ONE

WHO NEEDS
TO FIND GOD AGAIN.

Lord
I was Handicap

I
Handicapped
myself

With
all the things

I placed

In my way

All
the things
that were
inhuman

With
all the things
I left aside

All
I have done

With
all the help
I could of been

I
left it all undone

By what I am,
and could of been

I
Handicapped
myself

For the body
is only a case

Holding
all I am

The Greatest
Handicap

Is to Encase
Myself.

MANKIND
IS HANDICAPPED

EVEN MORE SO.

THE REPRESENTATIVE’S
WHO VOTED
AGAINST DISABLES

FOR THEY HAVE SHOWN
THEIR HANDICAP MORE

THEY MAY WALK
YET IT IS THEIR SOUL
THEY IMPAIRED.

THEY HANDICAPPED.
THE WORLD
BY THEIR CHOICE.

POEATREEMAN

I HAVE WALKED THE PATH
FOR 42 YEARS
IT TAKE MY WHEELS
TO HIT THE ROAD
IT TAKE MY SOUL
TO RIDE BACK HOME.

FREEDOM OF CHOICE

WHOSE LAND
ARE WE IN ?

THE BILL OF RIGHTS.

I PRAY IT IS MORE,
THEN JUST ITS WORDS.

THE RIGHT TO WORK
WITHOUT THE UNION.

THE HOUSE PLOWED
BEFORE HIS RIGHT,
WERE VIEWED.

THE RIGHTS,
TO HAVE A MORAL VIEW.

WITHOUT SOCIETY,
STAMPING
WHAT YOU WILL DO.

THE RIGHTS OF MARRIAGE.

WHEN CHOICE WAS TRUE,
NOW IT IS MANY
WHAT SHOULD I DO ?

THE RIGHTS,
TO SERVE MY GOD
WITHOUT
GOVERNMENT INTERVENTION

THE RIGHTS TO HAVE,
THE RIGHTS TO DO.

THE TEN COMMANDMENTS
ARE MY RIGHTS TOO.

POEATREEMAN

I FOLLOW GOD
HOPE MY COUNTRY
WILL COME TO DO.

AN OLD OAK TREE

YOUR PHOTO IS BEAUTIFUL
I HEARD LADYBUGS ARE GOOD
FOR THE TREES .
MAYBE YOU CAN NURSE IT BACK
WHERE THERE ARE THE LEAVES.
LIKE ME NEXT YR 70 I WILL BE
AT LEAST YOU GAVE IT YOUR TEARS

DEDICATED TO
THE OLD OAK TREE
FOR THEY'VE GROWN
WITH GRACE

POEATREEMAN

I STILL HAVE MY HAIR AT LEAST IT'S STILL THERE(:
IT MAY BE GRAY AND OLD YOU KNOW
YET I STILL HAVE THE BARK ON THE TREE(:
IT MAY BE PEELED AND WORN A BIT
YET IT IS STILL HOLDING ON TO ME.

AN OLD OAK TREE

You are
a Young
Flower

I am
An
Old
Oak
Tree

You are
Blossoming

While
I am
Withering
Away

I had my
Spring

When
I Blossomed
too

Yet
my Branches
are
not as New

My Roots
are Firm

Though
the Soil
is Loose

I will Fall Soon
be
at your feet

So Remember
when
I Stood

I
Tried
to be Straight

Perfect
I Was Not

For the Soil
was
not Great

I had my Falls
Limbs
were
Broken too

Yet
I Held Up

When Others
thought
I Would not

The Ground
is Opened

I must
Return to all

Shed no Tears
For
the Leaves
have
Finally Fallen.

Dedicated to Naomi Stansfield
A Soft Soul

A Poeatreeman

When I was
Young

I Tried
to be Straight

I Grew as Life
Would
have me Stand

Yet
I Stood Up

gave it a Hand

I Thank God
For
Letting me Sow
I had the Seasons
To Change and Grow.

A Poet’s Note

FORTITUDE
Do Not Say
Timber Yet

I Am Not
Ready To Fall

Do Not
Cut Me Down

For
I Stand Tall

If
You Want To Grow

Cut
No One Down

Then
You Will Stand Tall.

Gun Control
is a Misnomer

For who
Controls
the Gun?

It is We
who are
out of Control

We solve
our problem
with a Gun

We should have
a Waiting Period

Before
we fire off

We should check
our Background

To see
where we are
coming from

We Should
Pray to God

Before
we Lose Control

For where
we are going

Who is in
Control?....

FIRST AID

The First Wound

is Self Infliction

Triggered
By Your Will

Your Choices
are
The Ammunition

Fired Off
by Your Will

Your Aim
is Self

Looking Through
Your Sight

Targeted
by Your Will

is it Wrong
or Right?

Truth
Will Answer

When
The Wound is Self....
